Case study – Designing and delivering impactful education
What our client needed
Our client, responsible for managing a regional portfolio that supports education delivery for clinical and non-clinical staff in primary and community care, sought to revamp their educational offerings. Their goal was to address training gaps identified through feedback and evaluation by developing a series of structured, practical modules focused on critical areas such as change management, quality improvement, identifying and influencing stakeholders, and project management.
The requirement was for a programme designed for remote delivery over 12 months, with a strong emphasis on real-world applicability and alignment with participants’ working environments.
Our approach
We designed and delivered a programme consisting of a series of individual modules. While each module built on previous ones to ensure depth and continuity, it was intentionally structured so that each module could stand independently, allowing participants the flexibility to attend either the full series or individual sessions. The programme was carefully crafted to maximise participant engagement and practical application. We also developed comprehensive handouts, guides, and interactive learning exercises, incorporating real-world examples to enhance engagement and practical learning.
Results
The education series delivered tangible benefits for both our client and participants, equipping them with the skills and confidence to drive meaningful change. Participants developed actionable strategies to communicate effectively and mobilise support for change initiatives. They also gained hands-on experience with practical tools to analyse challenges and implement solutions in real-world settings.
Key outcomes from feedback included:
- Enhanced competence – Participants reported a boost in their understanding of change management and quality improvement, enabling them to navigate complex challenges with greater confidence.
- Immediate practical impact – By applying the tools and techniques learned, participants were able to influence real-world projects.
- Sustained change – Delegates used the structured frameworks and tools to support ongoing, long-term improvement efforts.
This programme not only equipped participants with theoretical knowledge but also empowered them to create lasting, positive change within their organisations.
Conclusion
This project highlights our ability to design and deliver impactful educational programmes tailored to meet client objectives. By equipping healthcare professionals with the skills and tools to lead change, we contributed to strengthening the resilience and adaptability of primary care organisations.
It also enabled us to reinforce our commitment to delivering education that drives real-world impact.
